The March issue of Garden Design features an inside peek at an outdoor patio of the Brody House in Holmby Hills. Midcentury landscape architect Garrett Eckbo expanded the way people view outdoor living by mixing elements of indoor spaces with the patio's outdoor elements. His then-revolutionary mantra was, "Gardens are places in which people live out of doors." We personally couldn't agree more.
